Shloka of the Month

                                          (2-38)

 

Sukh duhake same kritva, labh alabho jaya ajayo

Tatah yudhaya yujyasva, na aivam papam avapsyasi

 

Meaning: Having made (your intellect react) the same (way) to pleasure and sorrow, to gain and loss, to victory and defeat, then get ready for battle (because fighting) like this (with this attitude) you will incur no sin.

The mission of Upasana is to

 

§       Provide our children with the knowledge of India’s rich religious, philosophical and cultural heritage

§       Foster the spiritual and ethical development of children and teenagers by teaching them the Gita philosophy of Karma Yoga.

§       Introduce the children and teenagers to Hindu scriptures, culture, history and geography by effectively delivering a well-planned curriculum

§       Provide a forum where our children can socialize and start long-lasting friendships.
